Today we visited the premises of the school. Our meeting place is the International Café where we can also make use of the smart board. We were given the wifi password so we are all connected to chat with our friends and families in Spain. As for the facilities, we couldn't believe what we saw. They even have a swimming pool. Everything looks brand new. Some of the students attended lessons whereas others kept abreast of their homework. In the library we were given an Ipad to scan some QR codes that explained the activities they carry out there. Most of us wished we could study or work in such an amazing place.

After a long and exhausting trip we finally got to Boston, well some before than others 😉. Today students and teachers have had their first contact with Newton. In the evening, we had a welcome party in the school premises organised by the host families. By the look of our faces you could make out we feel at home. Families brought delicious food we all enjoyed. The star of the evening was a tasty cake that teachers cut out like in a wedding banquet. Enjoy your meal!
It's only one week to go to Newton. After a long wait and hard work, the students and teachers that take part in the exchange are looking forward to setting off. Saturday 24th is the date and 06:00 am is the time. Meanwhile, I leave you with a great video of the city of Boston that nicely nighlights its wonderful landmarks. On the 29th of October we've lived our first Lock Down in lives. It consist to a practice drill. The Police went to the high school for being sure that all the students followed the instructions. It was so cool!
